Tom Moore serves as the President of Thomas R. Moore Executive Search, LLC, a boutique search firm focusing on the recruitment of experienced fund development and management professionals. Tom’s search practice is directed toward nonprofit healthcare, education, cultural and performing arts, church and religious organizations, and human and social service agencies.

A graduate of the University of Texas Arlington, Tom established Thomas R. Moore Executive Search, LLC in 1991 following seven years with the Ketchum Incorporated Recruiting Service and Ernst & Young’s search practice. Prior to entering the Executive Search profession, Tom served on the development staffs at the University of Texas Arlington, Texas A&M University Commerce and the American Heart Association.

Tom remains an active participant in the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy, the Association of Fundraising Professionals, the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning, and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.

Tom has remained active in the nonprofit community serving on the Board of Directors for the YMCA, the Board of Philanthropy in Texas, and the Board of the Funding Information Center an official AFP Affiliate Library and cooperating collection with the Foundation Center in New York City.
